
Sir Richard Branson has made it to space and back again, and a New Zealand space tourist could soon get the chance to do the same.
The billionaire entrepreneur has reached the edge of space on his Virgin Galactic space plane.
Mark Rocket has paid more than NZ$350,000 for a ticket to ride on the service later this year.
He told Mike Hosking it's worth every cent.
"Meeting lots of interesting people and supporting this new private space industry that's nedging has been really important to me. Obviously, the experience itself is going to be pretty exciting and thrilling and a childhood dream."
