There is good news for those sick of Cookie Times and plain corn chips, Air New Zealand are stepping up their game when it comes to in-flight food on domestic flights.

They have teamed up with Eat My Lunch as part of a trial.

Eat My Lunch are likely to be making little wraps or croissants as well as other things - which could sit alongside other snacks they've been trialling at the moment such as apple crumble flavoured ice cream, paprika flavoured chips, popcorn and mandarins.

Whittaker's chocolate could be coming on board in the not too distant future as well.

Air NZ General Manager of Customers Leeanne Langridge told Mike Hosking it's time for a fresh approach.

“People are wanting choice and change and we just want to have fun with that and almost crowd source with our customers to say 'what is it that you want?"
