A programme is helping young New Zealanders build healthy habits.
Around 20,000 kids have taken part in the virtual Young and Healthy Adventure Programme. Programme founder Kim Harvey told Mike Yardley the programme aims to help kids eat well, be active and practice mindfulness.
“This is a really fun way of getting children engaged, and then they take this stuff home which is amazing because what we are seeing whole families take on some of the influential habits.”
