There are hopes working from home will become the new normal for some employees.
While many New Zealanders will be back in the office at Level Two, others are continuing to get the job done from home.
Randstad New Zealand director Katherine Swan told Mike Hosking if employees are productive out of the office, there's no argument for making people return.
"A number of organisations have said they've been able to learn new skills, been able to incorporate new ways of working, which has been very meaningful and added value not to their teams but to their customers, to their industry."
She says it's a good time for businesses to look at flexibility.
“A few of the teams who have worked from home have found it works really well for them, and it might be something hey want to incorporate into their every day working week.”
