The Government is expected to open the door to more highly skilled workers, but not to unskilled hospitality workers.

Hospitality New Zealand Chief Executive Julie White told Mike Hosking that means many hospitality businesses will never recover from two years of Covid restrictions.

“I’m hearing from our members more people are leaving than arriving, this is really going to put a handbrake on our ability to repay debts.”
