National is promising to improve its candidate selection process following the Jake Bezzant scandal.
Bezzant, who unsuccessfully stood in the Upper Harbour seat last election, has been accused of impersonating his ex-partner online and sharing naked pictures of her.
Leader Judith Collins maintains she didn't know about the allegations against Bezzant, until they were made public.
