After five days of isolation, staff can return to work as long as they return two negative tests and are working in non-Covid-19 areas.
Those who are working on Covid wards can continue, possibly without a stand-down period, as long as they’re asymptomatic.
College President John Bonning told Mike Hosking it makes sense.
“There are a lot of people that are very unwell, very briefly and then they’re really quite well and potentially a little bit frustrated that they can’t go back and help their colleagues.”
