There is at least one positive to come out of this new lockdown, and that is the public once again showing their support for small businesses.
During the last lockdown, New Zealander of the Year nominee David Downs set up SOS business - a platform that businesses could sign up to and customers could buy vouchers for to keep revenue coming in relatively steadily.
Last lockdown, over $2 million worth of vouchers were sold for 2400 businesses and now SME's have received a massive boost.
Texas based company inKind has now partnered with SOS and will inject $5 million in funding for the first year.
Inkind founder Johann Moonesinghe joined Mike Hosking to talk about the project.
