Traffic management costs are raining on popular parades.

Whau Local Board Member Jessica Rose says the thousands of dollars Auckland Transport charges could lead to the cancellation of Anzac Day and Santa parades.

She told Mike Hosking she wants the costs justified.

Rose says the issue is being raised at a board meeting - and she wants to know if they can be reduced in the future.
