Shops are back open in Auckland this morning, on the first day of Step Two rules.
Most shops and public facilities can reopen, provided customers and staff wear face coverings and everyone keeps two metres apart.
The longest queue has been at Sylvia Park, where JD Sports opened its first New Zealand store at midnight.
JD Sports Head Jason Lynch told Mike Hosking they were blown away by the number of customers who turned out.
“It was amazing. Last night was a massive success, I still haven’t slept. We had about 400 campers camped out.”
