Turns out New Zealand businesses need to get up to speed when it comes to using social media - especially for recruitment.
Frog Recruitment looked at 50 New Zealand businesses over a six month period and found less than 10 per cent use Instagram and 92 per cent don't use LinkedIn for employment purposes.
And with the workforce expected to be at least 50 per cent of millennials by 2050, the message is they need to get up with the play.
Director of Frog Recruitment Jane Kennelly told Mike Hosking says that some big companies are really missing a beat.
“These days, you’re dealing with really savvy, tech-minded, career seeker individuals who research to the nth degree the organisations and people they might be reporting to.”
