Actor Jake Ryan has become a mainstay on the Australian screen.

He got his first acting gig back in 2003 - after being Australia's Taekwondo champion.

Since then, he's been on Home and Away, Wentworth and Underbelly on Aussie TV.

Now, he's starring in the Kiwi film Savage - that tells the story of gangs, and how people end up in them, which is in cinemas September 10th.

Jake Ryan joined Mike Hosking to talk about the upcoming film release.
