Jacinda Ardern denies the Government's revenue strategy is in tatters.
EY tax policy leader David Snell has made the claim, and says we need something in the Budget to outline a new direction.
He suggests the country doesn't have a programme that'll ensure a progressive system, that's fair and balanced and promotes long-term sustainability and productivity.
The Prime Minister told Mike Hosking she disagrees with those statements altogether.
She says the Government never budgeted on any revenue as a result of the Tax Working Group and any proposals around things like the Capital Gains Tax.
