One central North Island principal says he's copped flak for being vaccinated against Covid-19.Â
School staff who have contact with students will have to be fully vaccinated by January 1 or could lose their jobs.Â
Schools will have to keep a register of which pupils are vaccinated, but only over 12s can be so far.Â
Rotorua Intermediate principal Garry de Thierry says told Mike Hosking some parents are asking if their children will be in classes with unvaccinated pupils but others have the opposite view.Â
"I've been abused by parents because I've been vaccinated. They say I shouldn't be role model in getting vaccinated."Â
