A UK think tank says Brits should get £10,000 when they turn 25 so they can take risks to build up their assets.

The Resolution Foundation is calling it a Citizen's Inheritance.

Researcher Fahmida Rahman told Mike Hosking the money would enable young people to get onto the housing ladder.

She says it would also help them if they want to put it towards their pension.

"Or to further their education, or to sort of take risks in entrepreneurship."

Fahmida Rahman admits it's an ambitious policy but says it's got a lot of weight and research behind it.
