Kiwi cyclist Dion Smith spoke to Mike Hosking about his Tour de France experience.

Smith, who came 124 overall, said he had no idea what to expect but the experience was huge.

"It's one thing physically to get through three weeks, but mentally it's pretty challenging, especially when you get to the third week, and obviously it's my first Grand tour. My longest tour I had done before this was eight days."
