ACT says continuing the suspension of Parliament lacks consistency.

Parliament will resume in person tomorrow after the proposal for another week suspension was rejected by the opposition parties.

The Prime Minister is concerned about MPs travelling to Wellington, when business could have been carried out by Zoom.

ACT Leader David Seymour told Mike Hosking there will only be around 12 and almost none of them will have to fly.

“If that is a problem, the first thing the government should do tomorrow is ground all the planes. They’re quite happy for the planes to fly mainly with government workers, they just didn’t want any MPs flying to Wellington to ask them questions.”
