Parliament's Speaker is reconsidering his  rule for MPs travelling to Wellington from a level three area.

Any returning MP or Parliamentary staffer must do five days of isolation, and get a negative test.

Jacinda Ardern says it's the main reason she hasn't been to Auckland since the outbreak began.

Act leader David Seymour is in isolation after a trip to the city, and says told Mike Hosking it's not too late for Ardern to visit.

“She’s been exposed to far too much thinking from Wellington civil servants who get paid every fortnight without fail by the taxpayer. She needs to see some people who actually have to have their shops open.”
