The Sam Uffindell saga could carry on if others come forward with stories of his uni years.

National's Tauranga MP has been cleared for caucus after an independent investigation found bullying behaviour didn't extend beyond high school.

Political commentator and pollster, David Farrar, says there are risks in National's decision not to release the report.

He told Mike Hosking if more people from that era start to come forward with other stories, it'll become a bit of a nightmare.
