National is being advised to choose prospective MPs with more life experience in future.
Three women have complained to the party about Andrew Falloon sending them explicit images, and one other woman has gone to the media.
Former National MPs Jamie Lee-Ross and Todd Barclay have also suffered embarrassing falls from grace.
Political commentator David Farrar told Mike Hosking National needs to be more careful about candidate selection.
“It's very easy to say 'Here's a young guy with a future, they can do a good speech and wow the delegates', but maybe they should be asking if the candidate has enough life experience.”
Farrar says some young MPs think they know it all, and they've failed to take advice.
“They've decided to sort problems out themselves by doing things like; tape recording their staff or leaking health information.”
