This week’s ASB Good as Gold winner is Chris Coolbear. His wife Helen sent in this nomination: “Chris has been the most amazing, supportive husband, especially since I was diagnosed with MS 14 years ago. We are both originally from the UK, and have been married 42 years in October. We are now in our sixties, and although we think of ourselves as Kiwis, we have never been able to find the time or money to become official citizens. That’s despite me living in NZ since I was 9, and my loving husband since he was 21. There was always a bill to be paid, and once I stopped work it totally went by went by the wayside. This might seem a trivial thing to want but it would complete our lives!”

ASB Bank would love to help make Chris and wife Helen official Kiwis! They will pay for their citizenship applications, plus have $600 for them to spend on a special dinner to celebrate with their two kids once the paperwork’s done.
