Pushback expected around vaccine passes and unvaccinated customers

People working on the frontline in vaccine-mandated businesses and venues are likely to face pushback from some customers. 

Vaccine passes will be required for a range of activities when the traffic light scheme takes effect next week. 

But Workplace Relations Minister Michael Wood says the Government is relying on customers to show their vaccine passes and businesses to check, as strict enforcement isn't possible.

“You’re going to get a situation where life is resuming and people are going to feel more and some people are going to feel cut out of that and that’s taking it out of the workplace and into their everyday life as well.”
