Talk that Donald Trump is going ahead with further tariffs on Chinese imports.

The move would impose new tariffs on about $200-billion worth of Chinese imports.

JMI Wealth Director Andrew Kelleher told Mike Hosking word on the street is that the button has been pushed and Trump is reportedly ready to go but official channels are staying quiet.

"It's come from, quote, unquote, unnamed sources from people familiar with the matter, but not actually out of an official announcement."

China's already set to fight back. Beijing has issued a list of another 60-billion dollars of American products for retaliation if Trump's move goes ahead.
