Doctors and medical professionals in the UK are challenging the game of rugby to ban tackling at a schoolboy level.
Professor Allyson Pollock, of Queen Mary University in London, told Mike Hosking 20 to 40 percent of school-age players are getting serious injuries such as concussion, dislocated shoulders, and ligament tears.
She says the sport itself should start to think about the children and the lifelong harm it can do to them, and not its corporate interests.
