There is a positive vibe around a trans-Tasman travel bubble.
The blueprint for a possible bubble will be presented to the governments of both countries early next month.
Auckland Airport chief executive Adrian Littlewood told Mike Hosking it would be phenomenal for the airport.
He says trans Tasman and Pacific travel makes up 65 percent of the airport's business.
“Other businesses around New Zealand, not just tourism, are heavily dependent on the connection between our two countries.”
