Our final ASB All I Want for Christmas winner for 2015 is Conrad Hailes. His wife Sarah nominated him, saying "A few years ago, I was diagnosed with a very rare aggressive cancer, Ewing Sarcoma, which is inoperable and was given 6 months to live. My husband has been my rock, through a horrible year of chemotherapy, through everything.

When I'm in hospital or having a bad pain day, he always steps up, always. Because of this cancer I am unable to work. He looks after our two young boys, cooks most nights, cleans, and makes time to play & do the kids' homework with them. Mostly, he goes to work to support the family that I can't contribute to.

Since I became sick, we created our family tradition of camping for Christmas and New Year. Even camping costs $1,500 just for a powered site, so we've decided to forgo Christmas presents to make sure we can scrape together enough money to take the kids away. I would be so honoured if ASB would pay for my the trip, so I can still buy my husband a present. He so deserves this so much - he is my hero!"

ASB Bank would love to help this family enjoy their camping as well as Christmas presents, so they've got the $1500 for the camping trip AND $1500 for presents for Mum and Dad and the children. They think the Hailes family could do with a nice winter break too - so they're giving them another $3000 for a winter break too.
