Former National leader Judith Collins is retiring from politics to take a new job as President of the Law Commission, starting from mid-year.
The MP for Papakura entered Parliament in 2002.
She was a Minister in the Key Government, and ran for the party leadership three times - assuming the role in 2020, before stepping down in 2021.
Newstalk ZB senior political correspondent Barry Soper joined the Afternoons team to look back on Collins' political legacy.
