It's Fraud Awareness and with that comes a fresh warning to be vigilant when it comes to fraud, as complaints increase.

Financial Service Complaints Limited says it's seen an increase of about 20 percent in the past year.

Financial Ombudsman Susan Taylor says complaints range from people ripped off in investment scams, to people having their identity stolen and used to obtain credit.
