Australia has re-defined what Covid-19 close contacts are.
The National Cabinet met yesterday to agree on changes.
Australian correspondent Murray Olds told Tim Dower Prime Minister Scott Morrison says a close contact is someone in a household – or a work colleague with four or more hours spent together.

“Plus, there’s a new rule for testing people for Covid, only those who meet the new definition of a close contact will be required to get a rapid antigen test.”
