New Zealand's making moves to get Kiwis out of Wuhan in China as Coronavirus spreads further.
The region has been on strict lockdown since the outbreak of the new virus that has killed 132. There have been more than 6000 confirmed cases worldwide.
The Government will be working with Australian counterparts on an evacuation.Â
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade has confirmed there are now 82 New Zealanders registered as being in the region.
However, Foreign Minister Winston Peters told Heather du Plessis-Allan they don't know how many want to leave.
"It's a big picture thing, but we think we're probably dealing with something, at this point of time, well under 80."Â
Peters says the Chinese government won't let them use military aircraft - so contingency plans are being put in place.
Australians trapped in the epicentre of China's deadly Coronavirus will be put in quarantine on Christmas Island.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison says priority will be given to "isolated and vulnerable" people - including infants and the elderly.
But China must give permission before a chartered plane can be sen, and that hasn't yet happened.
