Winston Peters says the Government's saliva testing procurement process doesn't smell right.

The New Zealand First leader's asked the Auditor-General to investigate a $60 million deal with Asia Pacific Health Group.

Peters thinks it's connected to NZ Super Fund being a part-owner of Pacific Health.

He told Heather du Plessis-Allan doesn't think Government played by the rulebook.

“Was this procurement process properly followed? Was it transparent and was it good practice and was it best value for money?”
