National says the Government has to come up with a plan now to present to the public as countries around the world opens borders.
Leader Todd Muller says the Beehive's keeping everyone in the dark.
Muller says the idea we're kept locked up at the bottom on the world waiting for a vaccine isn't tenable.
He says countries in the European are now opening their borders to Kiwis - and yet the Government hasn't yet come up with a plan for how we will respond.
He told Heather du Plessis-Allan that they want to know what the criteria is for re-opening the borders.
"What does it need to look like in the countries we would be bringing people in from? Is it no Covid, no community transmission, do they need to be tested before they hop on the plane?"Â
On local matter, a mini National Party reshuffle will happen before the week's end.
It comes after the party's former deputy Paula Bennett announced yesterday she won't be standing in September's election.
Muller says we won't have to wait long to see who's filling the void and it could be a familiar face.
"I'll certainly make a couple of changes", though Muller declined to specify if former leader Simon Bridges would be amongst those changes.
