The Prime Minister's given herself a $47,000 pay cut for the next six months.
Jacinda Ardern's Cabinet colleagues and public service bosses will cut their pay by 20 percent during that period.
Ardern says it's about leadership, and those at the top making sacrifices along with everyone else.

Meanwhile, John Tamihere's putting his hat back in the Parliament ring.

Maori Party president Che Wilson announced today Tamihere and Debbie Ngarewa-Packer are the party's new co-leaders.

Tamihere, who stood unsuccessfully for Auckland mayor last year, says it's about more than just getting back into politics - it's also about tackling a lack of Maori advocacy.

Jack tame and Trish Sherson joined Heather du Plessis-Allan to discuss these topics and the other big news of the day.
