It looks like the Prime Minister is gearing up to make a back-flip on introducing a wealth tax. 

Back in 2020 it was definitely not going to happen. 

But fast forward to today it sounds like a plausible option all of a sudden.  

Craig Elliffe, law professor at Auckland University, was a member of the tax working group that looked at the wealth tax.
