Pick any consumer issue over the last decade - the cost of sunscreen, insurance, our electricity – and chances are you will have heard Sue Chetwin.
Chetwin, as CEO of Consumer New Zealand, speak out for the rights of the people for 13 years.
Today, she has announced that she is standing down. She told Andrew Dickens it was a very hard decision to make, but she felt it was time to hand over the ranks.
"We've achieved so much over the last few years, and I think there's heaps of new battles to be fought."
Chetwin says that fresh thinking would be good for the business to have some fresh thinking.
