Tim Paine has announced he is taking a break from cricket.

The former Australian test captain resigned from the captaincy last week over a sexting scandal and has now today announced a leave of absence from all forms of cricket for the "foreseeable future".

The announcement came through a statement from Cricket Tasmania on Friday.

The Peng Shuai saga is thought to have changed some attitudes towards participation with China in sport.

Ahead of the 2022 Winter Olympics, IOC President Thomas Bach met with Peng Shuai on a video call to confirm her safety, but the WTA don't buy their story.

Cycling NZ's high-performance director has resigned after an "integrity breach" at the Tokyo Olympics was revealed.

The investigation revealed that the process to replace an athlete during a cycling event hadn’t been conducted according to IOC and UCI rules.
