A good vibe and a cigarette for brekkie in Dunedin could be yours - if you're willing to part with a couple of grand.

University of Otago's student magazine Critic is cashing in on crazy AirBnB prices the nights major concerts are in town, such as Elton John and Queen who are both arriving in the next month.

It's office is listed on AirBnB at $2,516 per night - for up to six guests.

Critic editor Sinead Gill told Heather du Plessis-Allan you can almost see the Forsyth Bar Stadium from the window.

"We're gonna offer you breakfast, so black coffee and a cigarette. Alcohol's provided, though it's mostly off-goon. We've got four couches, kind of. We'll provide blankets."
