Kiwi made designer face masks are selling out left, right and centre.
Popular headwear company Hills Hats recently started offering reusable masks, and it's now more than 80 percent of their output.
CEO Simon Smuts-Kennedy told Heather du Plessis-Allen at $45 each their products aren't cheap, but on Thursday they had completely sold out.
“The team's made 400 masks today - and staff are coming in at 6am tomorrow to keep up with demand.”
He says 80 percent of what they're making at the moment is masks - and it's actually saved their business from the post-Covid slump.
