National party finance spokesperson Paul Goldsmith says the longer the nation stays in lockdown the bigger the economical impacts will get.

The OCED is predicting a drop in the economy by almost 30 percent due to the back lash from Covid-19.

Goldsmith believes more can and needs to be done to make sure the lockdown works.

He says the most important thing for the future is to ensure lockdown is as short as it can be.
