Covid-19 continues to hit Australia hard.

New South Wales has 262 new community cases today and five deaths.

Queensland has 16 new cases, while Victoria has eight.

Calls to suicide hotlines have sky rocketed to their highest number ever.

Australian correspondent Murray Olds told Heather du Plessis-Allan officials are getting frustrated.

"Guys like Brad Hazzard, our Health Minister, are getting so cranky. For goodness sake, roll up your sleeve, get vaccinated."
