National's health spokesman says he deleted four emails that he'd received from former National Party President Michele Boag on Covid cases because he was worried about internet security.
Michael Woodhouse says he worries about email security and wanted to ensure there'd be no further leak.
He deleted the emails after an inquiry was launched into the leaking of patient details.
Woodhouse says if the inquiry head thinks the emails can help the investigation he can still access them through Boag.
Michele Boag has today ended her 47 year membership of the National Party after admitting sending emails to both Walker and Woodhouse.
