Greyhound racing's main body believes it's got the answers to keep the industry alive.
The Government's warned the industry to make changes, or risk being shut down, after a probe found Greyhound Racing New Zealand needs to prove it's decency.
Welfare Manager Michael Dore says they've got a better system to be more transparent about dog deaths and injuries.
He says they stopped destroying uncompetitive dogs in March.
