Tauranga commuters are increasingly frustrated by traffic jams, with 77 percent of residents acknowledging the problem.
Tauranga Chamber of Commerce CEO Matt Cowley says based on the regional GDP, investment hasn't kept up with population growth.
"It's just really connecting the Golden Triangle up that has half of New Zealand's population in GDP."
