NetSafe says having Twitter's CEO and our Prime Minister on the same page is a huge win.

Jacinda Ardern has met Twitter head Jack Dorsey today where they discussed controversial message board site 8chan.

Despite media coverage of the visit and reporters staking out the main entrances to the precinct, Dorsey managed to avoid media.

But he later tweeted a photo of him with the Prime Minister.

"Met PM @jacindaardern at the Beehive today for a followup discussion on the Christchurch call. Also my first time in New Zealand. Kind folks and beautiful environment," Dorsey said.

Netsafe CEO Martin Cocker says this second meeting shows Twitter's interested in constructive conversation.

He says it's pretty significant - and it's not long since you needed to indict CEOs of these companies to force them to come to a meeting.
