Covid-19 has had the last laugh on the International Comedy Festival.
The festival, which was supposed to take place in May, has been cancelled due to uncertainty about the Omicron variant.

General Manager Lauren Whitney told Andrew Dickens while it's aggravating to have to cancel, they are looking to the future.
“We’re gonna look at what we can deliver in later in the year. We’ve got the Best Foods Comedy Gala which is gonna be great and some other shows and organise with comedians about what we can help them put on.”
