Foodstuffs North Island says it would be happy to support a consumer-focused code of conduct for the supermarket industry.  

Supermarkets have also come under fire for the way that they deal with their suppliers, but Foodstuffs North Island Chief Executive Chris Quinn told Mike Hosking this morning that he thinks the relationship is a healthy one. 

Chief Executive of the Food and Grocery Council Katherine Rich however disagrees.
