School Strike for Climate Wellington is facing an unexpected charge that will likely put the march in jeopardy. 

Wellington City Council is billing the school strikers $5000 to cover traffic management for their protest.

One of the organisers, Izzy Cook, is here to talk us through it.

"We've asked some other organisations for funding, but it's not looking like we're going to get there."
