We are being repeatedly told that a vaccine against Covid-19 is 12-18 months - but the first trials for a potential vaccine are already underway.
And it’s not just at the petri-dish stage. The first volunteers have been given a vaccine in the US.
Science commentator Ian Haydon is one of them, having received the vaccine today.
