The Commerce Commission has today issued a warning to tech giant Apple. The commission is concerned Apple in New Zealand has been misleading consumers under the Consumer Guarantees Act and the Fair Trading Act about their rights around replacement products. Technology writer, Haydn Green says while companies can put any kind of warranty on their products, they cannot say that their product only has to work for two years.
