Investigations continue after three people from the same family test positive for Covid-19.
31 people are self isolating after coming into contact with the trio on their travels to Taupo between September 18 and 20.
There, they met up with 18 others from five locations around the country.
Acting Director of Public Health Dr Harriette Carr told Heather du Plessis-Allan all have been, or are in the process of being, tested.
"What has been very helpful in this particular situation is the gentlemen of this three has been very good at using the Covid app, so we have very good records of the places that they'd visited."
Today, New Zealand has three new cases of Covid-19 - all detected at the border. There are 65 active Covid-19 cases -- three in hospital.
